Kinsella Group’s 5th Annual Pre-NASS Cocktail Reception
We attended NASS and were joined by over 70 senior spine and orthopedic industry executives at Kinsella Group’s 5th annual pre-NASS cocktail reception and panel discussion.
The panel discussion “From the OR to the OEM: a Perspective” was led by Don Urbanowicz, Urbanowicz Consulting, LLC. Panelists included Adam Wollowick, MD, MBA, Senior Director, Business Development, Stryker Spine; John Pracyk, MD, PhD, MBA, FAANS, FACS, Spine Franchise Medical Leader, DePuy Synthes; Bob Kinsella, President, Kinsella Group.
Attendees and panelists enjoyed an active Q&A interchange at the end of an informative session.
Bob Kinsella had projected at the 2016 NASS that 11 deals in the supplier sector would close over the succeeding 12 months: in fact 12 deals closed. He projected that the supplier sector would continue to consolidate over the next 12 months projecting 11 closings for the period from NASS 2017 to NASS 2018 with European buyers as part of the mix in the new year.
