Burke Porter Group acquires NACS, a Minnesota-based contract manufacturer of medical devices

Client BPG is designer, developer and manufacturer of highly sophisticated manufacturing equipment used by its customers in mission critical applications including end of line quality assurance, diagnostics, and complex research applications. BPG serves significant global multinational customers from over 40 locations in 14 countries in Transportation and Test, Advance Manufacturing and Life Sciences. BPG’s continuing strategic objectives are to build upon its presence life science diagnostics and other highly differentiated medical manufacturing technologies. NACS was an addition to that strategy for BPG.
Seller NACS was a privately held business with significant new business with a major medical device company supportive of the sale to BPG to support European expansion of manufacturing capabilities.
Transaction Buyer acquired 100% of the Company. Certain Sellers remained as key managers of the Company post close.
