Göran Brorsson

Advisory Board, Medical Devices and International Trade

has more than 30 years of experience as a chief executive and senior manager for Swedish and multinational companies with interests, operations and customers in Scandinavia, Europe, North America and Asia. Mr. Brorsson has held key leadership roles in companies involved in the manufacture and distribution of medical device products, industrial electronics, paperboard packaging and other products, and in the provision of related engineering services. He taps his cross-cultural knowledge and background in management, financial analysis and international sales to advise Kinsella Group and our clients on global business development strategies and corporate transactions.

 

Since 2000, Mr. Brorsson been instrumental in leading Elos Medtech (NASDAQ Stockholm Small Cap), a Sweden-based, diversified industry group, in its strategic refocusing on the global medical devices market. As chief executive officer, he led the group’s restructuring through a series of key transactions, including the divestiture of its prefabricated housing division and the reduction of numerous business units into several core holdings. Today, Elos Medtech is a leading supplier of products and components to the international medical devices industry and has operations in Sweden, Denmark, China and the United States.

 

Prior to this, Mr. Brorsson held senior director and management positions in several international B2B companies, including AssiDomän AB, Svenska Rayon AB, Frövifors AB, Parafront AB, Persöner/Sonesson Group and Götaverken AB. His responsibilities have included financial controls, analysis and planning, development of market positioning and strategy, international sales and business development, mergers and acquisitions, and change management.

 

Mr. Brorsson earned his Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Business Administration from Gothenburg University and has participated in the International Management Programme at the International Management Institute, Geneva (now known as the International Institute for Management Development).
